SOMBRA (TOKYO)

SOMBRA is a Tokyo-based producer and songwriter originally from Canada. Blending 90s alt-rock and industrial with house, techno, and trip-hop, the project moves between heavy and atmospheric. Often described as music to turn off the lights to, SOMBRA's dynamic live band sets pair sound with immersive visuals and projections, and feature collaborations with Japan-based artists across multiple genres.

SOMBRAはカナダ出身で東京を拠点に活動するプロデューサー／ソングライター。90年代のオルタナティブ・ロックやインダストリアルから、ハウス、テクノ、トリップ・ホップまでを融合させた音楽は、ヘヴィーでありながらもアンビエントな世界を行き来する。しばしば「灯りを消して聴く音楽」と形容されるSOMBRAのライブセットは、バンド編成によるダイナミックな演奏と没入的な映像演出を組み合わせ、日本を拠点に活動するさまざまなジャンルのアーティストとのコラボレーションも特徴となっている。
