Who is KTSE Uno?
Known professionally as KTSE Uno and named after his father, Carlton Castillo Jr. was born in Belize City Hospital on June 20th 1995 in the beautiful country of Belize. After migrating to California in 1996, this foreign artist was raised in South Central Los Angeles. He eventually started using music as an escape. Some of his favorite artists being Nipsey Hussle, J Cole, Drake, and Joey Bada$$. After that first highlight, he started writing and eventually self produced his first mixtape early 2013. With bits and pieces of help over time, Uno has also taught himself the core fundamentals of how to rap, become an artist, a songwriter, a singer, a producer, an engineer, and much more. Uno moved on forward learning skills necessary to complete his second mixtape in 2019. He also started booking shows after learning the basics. Performing at at least a handful of venues, including bars, showcases, clubs, and private events from Sacramento california to Anaheim. With the biggest performances so far being in downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and even The Inland Empire. Currently, KTSE uno’s list of accomplishments, lessons learned and personal experience with life changing situations has poised him exactly where he needs to be for 2020. Positioned for perfect clarity, KTSE’s goal is to solidify his future through entertainment, hard work, and exemplary actions of good. Inspiring the next generation that no matter what odds a person is given, There’s still ways to come from the slums, ghetto, or bottom without following a “whatever comes first” or “monkey see monkey do” mindset. Learning the value of being a leader and someone who served his time as well as avoided a lot more by locking in his principals, self respect, and the respect of his family. A story like this has never been told. As his storm clears his music production has also sped up. KTSE Uno is working with JadeStone Productions on an EP and another mixtape before dropping his first album .
