CARSON (CH)

Carson is an energetic alternative stoner rock trio from Lucerne. Originally formed in New Zealand, the band exists in it’s current line-up since 2012 in Switzerland. Carson are known for creating a massive wall of sound with their distinct musical style and captivating, energetic live shows.The band have released two EPs and two full length albums to date and toured all over Europe with bands such as Karma to Burn, Siena Root and Deville. As well as one off festivals like Up in Smoke Festival, Stonerhead Festival, Dudefest, Rock im Wald Festival, Pietra Sonica Fest, etc. The self titled EP was released in 2012 and started the band well on their way to be respected flag bearers of the Stoner Rock genre. A second EP "Three Point Split" and the debut album "Drown The Witness" followed in 2017. This EP and the debut album were well received internationally, received many positive reviews and were sold worldwide.
2021/22 Carson were picked up by record label Sixteentimes Music and released their second full length album "The Wilful Pursuit of Ignorance". This landed on the top 10 Swiss-Artist album charts, sold very well internationally and received raving reviews from magazines and online blogs such as Visions, Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Drumheads etc.
