About CARSTN
If we think of yellow, we usually think about things like summer, sun, and good times. But we should also start to think about music. More precisely the music of upcoming DJ and producer CARSTN from Southern Germany who has claimed a bright yellow color in his appearance as trademark. His music is a combination of Dance and Pop elements that appeals with a straightforward happy vibe.
It was 2018 when CARSTN decided to make his first steps towards a serious career in the music industry and launched his artist profile. His first encounters with music go back way longer though as he first started playing drums and later worked as a DJ on private events. Besides his activities as an artist CARSTN is also part of a duo heading the two Berlin based labels “Up All Night” and “Chillout Tales” where he’s using the experience, he has gathered so far to work with music in yet another dimension.
His first mayor success was his release “Honey” in 2018, which quickly became the official anthem of the “Tropical Mountain Festival” where CARSTN also has a permanent place as resident DJ. Since then, one high quality single followed the other adding up to a total of over 20 releases with over 70 million streams combined which now led to an audience of close to one million monthly listeners and follower numbers in the five-figure range on Spotify. Based on the success on streaming side, he is now slowly but surely building his live profile and can already look back on milestones like opening for “Lost Frequencies” or playing at the “World Club Dome”.
2022 will certainly be an exciting year for CARSTN. In early March he got to play his first international gig of the year at London’s iconic Printworks opening for none other than “Goldfish”. Later the same month he released the official anniversary remix for “I’m Outta Love” by “Anastacia”.
When asked, he proclaims that his goal is nothing less than going all the way around the world with his music from the Saar region of Germany, where he is based. While his ambitions are big, he stays humble and enjoys nothing more than making the people smile wherever they are listening to one of his tunes. In the end it’s easy: CARSTN music is happy music.
