Jack Mac Sax

Jack ‘ Mac’ McDougal is an alumni of Cardiff University and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He has been playing music professionally for over a decade and has collaborated with some of the finest up and coming UK musicians. His style of music is heavily influenced by New Orleans greats such as DrJohn, Jon Cleary and Galactic. He is an admirer of the sounds of saxophonists Coleman Hawkins and Sonny Rollins together with jazz fusion groups The Headhunters and the Brecker Brothers. The result is a melting pot of musical genres that keeps every gig fresh and alive so no two performances are ever the same.
