Ren Elizabeth

Growing up, Ren was immersed in a community of musicians and artists at her family’s bar in northern Colorado. Some of her earliest influences were world-class blues and jazz artists who performed there and invited her to join them onstage. Ren has since developed her own unique sound with intricate guitar picking and soulful vocal melodies influenced by blues, Americana, and folk styles. Drawing from western myths and her own family’s colorful history, she crafts stories of characters battling guilt, temptation, and personal demons. She also draws inspiration from her work as a mountain guide in the Rocky Mountains and deserts of the Colorado Plateau where she spends most of her time when she’s not focusing on music.
