Favor band

This power trio from ATX formed in 2017. Guitarist / singer Jimmy Mercado and drummer Evan Campbell met at a music camp and the rest has been an absolute ride. Bassist Lo Gomez (Metaphonic) joined Favor in November of 2018. They needed a bass player four weeks before a headlining show downtown, a frantic search put them all on a collision course. The result is not only an incredibly energetic live performance, but songs recorded and mixed entirely by themselves. Defying many genres and pushing the boundaries of their music, this is Favor. Influenced by the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Garden, Iggy Pop, Tame Impala, and Stone Temple Pilots
