About The Street Arts Project
The Street Arts Project (previously The Link Project) is a local, not-for-profit community group set up by Jackie Lines, Doug Armstrong and Chris Musson to support homeless and vulnerable people in Stratford upon Avon. As well as providing direct support through donations, free hot food services and social outreach, S.A.P. runs a weekly song-writing drop-in session hosted by the Stratford Arts House. Local professional musicians are there to teach guitar skills, song composition and lyric writing, and once a year a CD compilation album is made to celebrate their work. Local gigs are also organised in collaboration with other local bands and artists.
