Death From Above 1979

I remember seeing this band open for QOTSA and NIN nearly twenty years ago at MSG. Been a fan since I was in high school when I got sucked into the You’re A Woman.. frenzy. Seen them 4 times throughout the years, and DFA always KILLS it. They’re loud, they’re noisy, they’re abrasive, they will literally melt your face off. But damn they put on one hell of a show. The sound created by just these two dudes is nothing short of amazing. The Heights Theatre is an awesome venue - an old theatre stuck in the heart of downtown Houston that’s been there since the 1920’s. And DFA strolled in and just burnt the place to the ground. They interact with the crowd, they’re funny, down to earth and it was a small, intimate communion that was extraordinarily beautiful. I plan to see them again as much as I can for as long as they keep going, and I highly recommend you do the same.

They were awesome! First time seeing them and had no idea it was only bassist and drummer. They crushed it and the singers voice is incredible/sounds just like the album.

Amazing show. Last time I saw them live was 16 years ago at The Glass House. Amazing show back then and just as amazing show last night

been waiting since sept 2021 to see them since the garden grove show got cancelled. it was so worth the wait <3 and they played my fav song

These two guys blew the roof off! Fantastic show. A great friendly crowd too, in a cool small venue. Catch this band if you can!!!

You guys were f*****g amazing 🤩🤩😃😃🤘🏻🤘🏻 I waited so long for this concert and I was just blown away. Definitely a most memorable experience 🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻😁😁

Great show by Death From Above as always. I’m still always amazed at how much sound only two people can make.

This was my favorite performance from them. I’ve seen them 3 times before but they seemed well rested and full of energy. Great crowd play and selection of tunes. Great show

F*****g AMAZING SHOW Obgms killed it, had us moshing harder than we had in us, perfect opening for DfA1979. Then Death from Above came on, and they just rocked the f*****g house till we melted. Played 3 encode songs, great show. Best of '22
