About Official Amari Music

Amari is an indie christian urban/pop artist from Sacramento, California. Amari has led and been a part of many worship teams/choirs for over 15 years. In 2003, she was a regional winner in Los Angeles and went on to perform in the nationally televised show, Christian Artist Talent Search (C.A.T.S.) hosted by Clifton Davis.

Amari released her first album, “Unashamed" in 2013 and is currently working on her sophomore album. Amari released a single "I Shouldn't Be Here" on 9.22.16 telling the story of a car accident she had exactly 3 years prior.

Amari has had the opportunity to work with talented producers and songwriters to deliver her record such as Mike ‘Big Mike’ Hart of Rhythm Section Ent. and Dave Repace. Amari’s album “Unashamed” was produced by Platinum, Stellar and Dove award winning producer Derek ‘DOA’ Allen. ‘DOA’ has produced and/or worked with (Smokie Norful, Donald Lawrence, Toby Mac, Todd ‘Toddiefunk’ Lawton, Fred Hammond and Vicki Mack to name a few). Rodge Mamauag was an asset to the album as well co-producing as well as co-writing for many songs.

Amari’s music is inspirational and motivational. Her songs are relevant to everyone in all walks of life. One of Amari’s desires is to always push people towards the greatness they hold inside. In her single “Let Your Light Shine” Amari encourages us all “don’t be small, don’t hold back, don’t let fear stand in the way of your light.” Amari is also a speaker and mentor for youth and adults.
