3's and 7's

3's and 7's is a five-piece alternative rock band formed in June 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The band’s sound can be described as a mixture of 70s classic rock, 80s jangly alternative, emotional 90s alternative, and a bit of the new century’s influence thrown in. The band began building its reputation as a live act in 2019, having played some of the most popular venues in Gauteng, including Railways Café, Platteland, JARR Bar, Rumours Rock City and Sundowner’s Pub, as well as playing on the bill for Oakfest 2019. Furthermore, the band as performing and being interviewed on local media platforms including Mix FM 93.8, Kovsie FM and The Couch Sessions SA. The band have big plans for 2020, including recording their debut studio EP, playing local festivals, and touring around South Africa.
