Kelsey Bovey

Kelsey Bovey is UK Country-Pop Singer-Songwriter based in Bristol from Bristol who aspires to make music to empower the lives of young people. Starting her music journey at only 8 years old, this has given her the time to develop and evolve into something she has always dreamed to be. Kelsey’s recently released debut single ‘Define Me’, about her personal experience of being bullied, got to number 29 in the Singer/Songwriter iTunes Charts. Her debut EP ‘It’s my Time’ follows with two other tracks ‘Lady in Red’ about an unhealthy relationship she encountered and this is her reflection of the emotions she felt during this time and ‘Positivity’ which is about turning her life around after her peers who she thought were friends were creating negative rumours and spreading malicious gossip. This has inspired Kelsey to continue writing more music that can help inspire young people through her experiences that others can relate to.

Described as one of Duggystone Radios Emerging Artists to watch, Kelsey has recently been taken on by Scarlet River Management and 2020 aims to be a big year of songwriting, recording and playing live shows.
