My goal is to inspire to world to be the change they wish to see in the world as well as, I hope to show people that recovery (from anything is possible)! I am a 20 year old, entrepreneur. I am an independent, hip/hop artist and CEO of my label, “OGBC Entertainment”. With my label, I have my clothing brand, “Recovery Clothing Co.” and my hemp brand, “PureCure Hemp”. In September, 2015, at the age of 15, I went to rehab for opiate addiction... I was failing out of school, I was lying to and stealing from friends, family, and stores as well as getting in trouble with the cops. After confessing my addiction to my mom, we made a plan for me to go to rehab, and to use cannabis/hemp as treatment for my addiction when I got home. After rehab and starting treatment; I started my music career, graduated from high school 2 years early. Graduated from Cannabis Training University and Oaksterdam University. During this process, quick and easy money caught my attention... in 2019, my house was raided, and my mom was arrested for possession and intent to distribute marijuana. We wanted to provide a safe environment where people had access to medical grade cannabis and weren’t going to be influenced and put around dangerous, addictive narcotics and things got out of hand, and we got caught up in the “Street Life”. I got to see the money and attention, but I also had to see the negatives that come along with the lifestyle. I saw mass corruption, I saw people ruin their lives with drugs as I tried to help them, I started arguing and fighting with people, saw my own and other friendships destroyed, at one point I was even drugged. Seeing all these negatives but yet, I still continued to do what I did, I became addicted to the fast money and I was blind to the fact. After being raided I also lost my best friend to a drug overdose. These series of events made me realize that was not the life I wanted to live, or represent. It made me look back on my goal since rehab, which was to spread my story and inspire others not to go down the same path as me. So now, I made all of my business legal and strive to encourage people to follow their dreams, because anything is possible and you can recover from even the worst of situations!
