Horny Dolphins

In 2020, when a pandemic knocked out the whole culture, "Horny Dolphins" - then still on the road as "Cabinets" - also fell into a seemingly dead state of lethargy. Not even friends of the band members knew if the band still existed. But only apparently. In the fall of 2021, there was a new set, a new name and therefore a new band: Horny Dolphins. Rather adolescent frivolity than affected maturity.

The same band but a bit different.

The music is more raw, rougher, and faster. Garage rock. Just bang it loud, as it feels good. Punk. Straightforward and simple. Distorted guitars, whipping drums and on top a nice pinch of trombone, as you know it from the guys. Indie halt. It's dripping with youthful recklessness, healthy self-irony and the "just go for it." Without sounding immature or ill-considered. No, no. Basically escape from thinking and rather pogo your head free.

Since 2021, the four twenty-somethings from Nidwalden can be seen on stage and come with great energy, banging songs and much, much joy. Let's do the pogo.
