About Heather McLarney
Lush and soulful, Heather McLarney aims to send audiences "sailing into the rafters" as she intertwines experiences in world travel, relationships, life and dreams into her songs. Heather uses an indie-folk/pop style "and a bit of twang", as she puts it. With her signature combination of sweet and catchy, but strong vocals, her voice blending innocence with experience, her tunes thrill listeners with emotional crescendos that keep the room charged and buzzing.
Heather performs regularly in her home of downtown Hartford and beyond-- including the Hartbeat Music Festival, Republic at the Linden, Hartford Flavor Company "Friday Night Flavor" music series, Finest Hours Hartford events, Capewell Lofts, Spectra Apartments, the Pratt Street Lunchtime Music series, as well as local events and festivals.
You might know also recognize Heather from her duo Capitol Blondes, or singing back up vocals for The Professors of Sweet, Sweet Music. A downtown resident and Hartford enthusiast, she's a fixture in the Hartford music scene and thrilled to be part of it all!
