About A Special Case
True Rock and Roll Texas style!!!
A Special Case is from a small town in the Texas panhandle giving them access to several large cities. They started in 2016 as a acoustic rock band with sounds similar to bands like Creed or Days of the New. But in 2019 front man David Swafford had to rebuild his band gaining a more experienced band and a new style. He started with bassist Matt Gutierrez from the band Kindred a local heavy metal band which made Dave play faster and louder making him finally step to an electric guitar. Now needing a drummer Matt suggests George Keely they played together with the band known as Another Texas Murder Scene. Since George’s band Suspense was gonna be on break for a little he brings along the amazing lead guitarist Richard Spence. Besides high pitched fast solos Richard brought a lot of experience with him. He started doing covers when he was 13 started the band Suspencei in 1996 he was also in Black Powder Revival and more.
