Moves Johnson

Moves Johnson is a Canadian-born multi-instrumentalist currently operating out of Berlin, Germany. Known for his witty lyrics, eccentric stage persona and aggressive musical style, he has become a regular face on the German music scene. His discography spans over 10 studio albums, many of them self-produced. In addition to founding the Canadian rock bands TheCounterPoint and Stereoblastula, he has also worked with such artists as Buddy Black and the Midnight Society, Die Mannequin and Staggered Crossing.
His current project, "Moves Johnson and the Boxhoppers", features Moves on guitar and lead vocals, with punk rock guitar riffs underneath edgy folk violin and jazzy piano. The band is known for their energetic performances and catchy hooks.
