About Benmozes
The burst of energy popping out of the speakers when you play Benmozes' debut album IMMIGRANT makes it undeniably clear that this is not just another rock band. The explosive riff of album opener Fake immediately grabs one's attention. The biting single Immigrant, which follows, provides a take on modern society from the point of view of an alienated immigrant. Then a series of rock anthems such as Losing It , She's the Wave and Trips in Time take you on a journey through the highs and lows of life in our age. In the middle of the album, there is a transition of energy with the spooky Ominous. With its unique ambient sound, the song is nothing but peculiar: More than 6 minutes without a single chorus, slowly bubble up into a legendary solo, and go by in a heartbeat. Benmozes decided to end the album with a statement with the intimate Waiting for Good Luck to Come. Perhaps now, with this kind of debut, the time has come for this band.
