FRATER

Frater es una banda cuyo nombre implica unión y hermandad. Este lazo intangible, pero a la vez perceptible, atraviesa la música modificándola, evolucionando permanentemente hacia nuevos horizontes. Actualmente integrada por Andrés Bori (Guitarra y Voces), Pablo Urcullu (Voces), Andrés Zadunaisky (Bajo), Joaquín Gómez (Guitarra) y Mariano Calarota (Bateria), Frater se forma a comienzos del 2008 con el objetivo de fusionar diferentes estilos musicales, con riffs potentes y a la vez melódicos, letras introspectivas y construcciones rítmicas que bordean lo progresivo, siendo esta mixtura la impronta de la banda. A comienzos de 2009, luego de reunir ideas y componer nuevos temas, Frater publica de manera independiente su primer EP titulado “Shapeless”, incluyendo cinco temas, el cual es presentado en numerosas fechas con bandas, entre otras, como Horcas en Niceto Club, Pork en Peteco’s y Kathaarsys (España) y Nuclear (Chile) en El Teatrito y, en el marco del “Birth & Death Fest”, en la ciudad de Mar del Plata. Frater se enorgullece en presentar su primer LP “Into The Light” que consta de doce canciones que condensan el trayecto recorrido y las aspiraciones a futuro, el vínculo humano entre los integrantes y la pasión incondicional en la constante búsqueda de un sonido propio y único. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frater is a band which name implies union and brotherhood. This intangible but yet perceptible bond, vibrates through the music, modifying it, in permanent evolution into new horizons. Formed by Andrés Bori (Guitar and vocals), Pablo Urcullu (Vocals), Andrés Zadunaisky (Bass), Joaquín Gómez (Guitar) and Mariano Calarota (drums), Frater begun its journey in the early 2008 with the aim to fuse different musical styles with powerful riffs without neglecting melody, introspective lyrics and progressive rhythm constructions, being this mixture the signature of the band. In the beginning of 2009, after compiling ideas and writing new songs, Frater publishes an EP titled “Shapeless”, including five songs. It was presented in several venues with bands such as Horcas at Niceto club, Pork at Peteco’s and Kathaarsys (Spain) & Nuclear (Chile) at El Teatrito, and also at the “Birth & Death Fest” in Mar del Plata. Frater proudly presents its first LP “Into The Light”, recorded at Sacrvum Studios, Vader Studios and PGM Studios. Including twelve songs that resume the path walked so far, set high expectations for the future and reflect the unconditional passion in the pursuit of a unique and distinctive sound. lml ._. lml
