About the Band: Chris Daniels Project is a hard drivin', Edgy Country Rock band that's been a staple and draw for many years on the Southern California music scene. Affectionately referred to as “CDP”, the band performs in clubs and concert venues alike. Their extensive song list ranges from Rock’s best (Tom Petty, Bob Seger, Joe Cocker, The Stones, Clapton, The Eagles, Mark Knopfler, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival...) to Country’s royalty (Hal Ketchum, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam, Montgomery Gentry, Brooks n’ Dunn & more), to their own brand of original Country n’ Soul. “CDP” reads an audience like a book and rocks a house like no one else. "CDP" has shared the stage with many national acts including Eddie Money, The Marshall Tucker Band, Lukas Nelson, Leon Russell, Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks and more. In 2014 "CDP" opened the 11th Annual "Rock The House" fundraiser at The House of Blues in Anaheim, for The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. This event helped raise over $25,000 each night for families and children in need. "CDP" has also been featured on KSBR 88.5FM in Orange County, CA's "Whole ‘Nuther Thing” Radio Show with Bob Goodman, which airs every Saturday. After playing a few tracks from the Chris' C.D. “Years Behind Bars”, Bob described "CDP" as “good ol’ fashion Country Rock meets R&B soul music, with a bit of Blues thrown in for flavor”. "CDP" was a featured artist on KIX Hot Country KXCM Radio 92.1FM & 96.3FM in the Coachella Valley when they opened for Ry Bradley at the AMFM FEST (Art, Music & Film Festival) in Cathedral City . Having shared the stage with the such notables as The Tubes, Eddie Money, Leon Russell, 38 Special and countless others, Chris has built a reputation as a solid multi-instrumentalist who is versatile in numerous styles of music. Artistically Chris’ soulful emotion and songwriting are drawn from his own life experience and is colored by the personalities and adventures he’s encountered along the way.
