Alex Gontar was born on May 17, 1996, in Nahariya, Israel, and grew up in Acre. Gontar learned how to play the piano at age 6, and started to play the guitar at age 11.
In 2009, at age 12, Gontar created his first Youtube channel and mainly did parodies of new songs. This channel was a success, but Gontar forced to close his channel due to personal reasons. In 2011, Gontar returned to Youtube and created his second channel for making covers and original songs. On Oct 13, 2012, he was interviewed by the Israeli magazine, Rosh 1. On May 3, 2018, Alex Gontar won first place in a contest for Big Brother Israel TV show, with his video for the most original way of making their promo melody. The video became so viral, that Gontar was called for an interview on Channel 13 (Hebrew: 13 רשת). On May 22, Gontar presented a review for new songs released on Opening The Day, Israeli TV show. On Mar 20, 2019, Gontar Released his first single called "Forever".
After that, released the second single called "Say Goodbye".
Later on that year, Gontar released his first instrumental piano song called "Scent of Freedom".
