So Dirty the Flamingos is a roots rock, alt country, Americana collective of musicians from the Toronto area. With 4 EP releases in as many years, the quintet-sometimes-sixtet pack some surprises with their penchant for genre switcheroos and there's even a rumour that Lionel Doe is backing off as lead vocalist for the next group of songs, handing the mic over to Sarah Meinke, the recent addition as backing vocalist. Just a rumour, but probably true, since it's Lionel who is writing this.
