About Jessica Pain
‘I have been singing since I was two years old and was obsessed with singing and music from a very young age. However I hadn’t started to explore and pursue my music dream properly until I was sixteen. I joined a heavy metal/rock band for two years and we performed at local venues. When I was nineteen I started taking singing lessons and also pursued my grades via Rockschool, which I am now qualified up to my Grade 8 in vocals. I also started taking part in singing competitions such as Open Mic Uk, Luton Mela and the Coffee Music Project.
I have recently become signed to my first ever label ‘Difference Records’ which is an amazing achievement. I can’t wait to start my journey here. My aim is to become an established artist and create music which I hope will help to heal the world. I believe that being an musician and artist has always been my destiny in life. As well as being a musician (singer) I am also a practising fine artist. I studied Fine Art at Middlesex University. Creating art has also been something I have had an obsession with since a very young age, in particular, drawing and painting. (www.jessicapain.com)
My music talks about my life, certain experiences and emotions. Music has been something in my life which has been beyond important to me. It gives me so much strength when I am going through a bad time in my life and when I can’t cope with things. It also helps to help me cope with my emotions as I do feel things very deeply, sometimes too deeply where it can become unbearable.
I am influenced by so many different types of music that I don’t really have a favourite genre. I would describe my music as having a pop feel.
I am really looking forward to taking this journey with ‘Difference Records.’ This has been my dream since I was a little girl and it can only get better!
