Plane Station

Plane Station is a sibling singer/songwriter duo who's indie folk sound is driven by harmony and a devotion to honest lyricism. Nick and Brianna Chiapparino grew up singing together in the suburbs of Westchester, New York. The duo has fronted many bands spanning a wide variety of genres but for the first time, with Plane Station, are settling into the music they feel most at home with. Honing their craft through years of live performance, Nick and Brianna build their sound on an ability to write collaboratively and harmonize with one another that is, at this point, second nature. Their first album, The Other Side, finds the duo exploring themes of love, change and loss in a stripped down, predominantly acoustic setting. However, Plane Station is not averse to the grandiose and often stretch their acoustic sound into soaring harmonies and swelling instrumentation. This is evident not only in their sprawling live shows, which often feature drummer and producer Jesse Melito, but their two latest singles, Alcohol and Francis. Both of which tease Nick and Brianna’s growth towards a more expansive sonic landscape on their upcoming LP, 7th Street.
