Calioca - headquartered in San Francisco Bay Area plays the exciting music of Brazil - including second wave Bossa Nova, Tropicalismo, Samba, and what we call Amazona Psychedelica. Definitely not your parent’s Bossa Nova band! Featuring a line up of superb musicians from Europe, South and North America, Calioca’s shows bring the excitement of Carnival with the romance of Rio to create a one of a kind musical experience. Located in Sonoma, Calioca has developed a solid and devoted fan base spanning a broad variety of ages and listener types - from jazz fiends to rockers to EDM heads - a perfect compliment to the sophisticated Scribe musical events your club members expect.
