Rauw Alejandro

Rauw Alejandro, born Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz on January 10, 1993, is a singer, songwriter, and actor.

Originating from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Rauw Alejandro is a Latin Grammy award-winning and Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican singer leading the new generation of Latin music artists. Many of his hits have attained Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum certifications. Also referred to as El Zorro, Rauleeto, and the “King of Modern Reggaeton,” Rauw Alejandro has perfected his unique sound, blending reggaeton, Latin R&B, and trap.

In November 2020, Rauw Alejandro released his debut studio album, “Afrodisíaco,” which received great reviews, was critically acclaimed, and obtained Gold certification in the United States and Colombia. In November 2021, after receiving two nominations, he won the Latin Grammy award for “Best Fusion / Urban Performance” for “Tattoo Remix” with Camilo. In May 2021, Rauw Alejandro dropped the song, “Todo De Ti,” his biggest hit to date, with more than 2 billion streams worldwide.

Soon after, he released his album, “Vice Versa” in June 2021 which also received rave reviews, debuting #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Album chart, #3 on Spotify’s Top Debut Album, and #1 on Apple Music’s Latin Album charts. The album has amassed more than 3.6 billion streams and topped the Best Albums of 2021 lists in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR, and Billboard.

His latest album, "SATURNO: includes hits LOKERA and PUNTO 40, both in Top Global 50 and with more than 75M each. This year also marks his acting debut, starring in the top-rated Netflix series “Sky Rojo.”
