Shana Dawn

Shana Dawn is a Brooklyn singer/songwriter and composer. In a jazzy-funk-rock-R&B style, her music often carries a heavy bass undertone that grooves with her smooth and jazzy vocal presence. She writes lyrical poetry that explores the emotional, social and human condition, often influenced by her own experiences, the Sci-fi/fantasy fiction she reads and writes, and inspiration from her love of African/American/Asian cultures.
