Colorful Swing Band (The Netherlands)

The Colorful Swing Band is a coverband from Roermond in The Netherlands.

The band was founded in early 2015. Noteworthy, their first gig was booked even before the band actually existed. It all started with our guitarist Guus who contacted a few fellow musicians to join. They also knew a few people and so the group total quickly grew to eleven musicians who all come from different music backgrounds. Some from rockbands, some from marching bands and some come from classical music.
In the beginning it was clear that they wanted to play songs for people to dance on. Hence their repertoire consists of songs by Tina Turner, Donna Summer & Katrina and the Waves. While our song catalogue grew our diversity also grew. Added to our repertoire are some soulful ballads, powerful rock songs, funky reggae’s and some twisting blues songs. Currently we have over 50 songs in our repertoire.
