About Alec Beretz
Behind every boss and bad bitch is someone who isn't as indestructible as they appear. Alec Beretz is opening his journal for you to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. His sound is a yin and yang of rap aggression and rock vulnerability, aimed at giving the listener a full catharsis.
Alec is based in San Diego and Los Angeles, and was raised in Virginia. Despite focusing on being a vocalist and songwriter, Alec contributes to all his beats and productions. Prior to this debut solo project, Alec has performed reggae, rap, funk, punk and psychedelic rock, all now contributing to his signature sound. He is particularly inspired by other artist/producers such as Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), and Travis Scott.
Notable performances and collaborations include "Pantone Blue" with T.I. on his 2020 album "The L.I.B.R.A." as well as opening for Young Thug and Trippie Redd at one of the premiere shows for Young Thugs album "So Much Fun" ("Family Business" Dallas, TX 2019). Alec's favorite show to date was playing alongside Nothing,Nowhere. in Austin, TX (2019).
