Singer, actor, dancer, and philanthropist, Derek Jameson is an exploding star on the brink of an entertainment supernova. This talented performer is not just a triple threat, but the definition of. With the recent release of his debut album Timelines and history of film and TV work, Derek Jameson is on the fast track to becoming an artist known and respected by all. Timelines Vol. 1: Space and Vol. 2: Time is Derek Jameson's recently released collection, a mix of dance and piano vocal songs that reflect life, love and Hollywood. The album's lead singles, "The Edge of Light" and “Put Your Money” have been lighting up the L.A. club and bar scene. Timelines has been impacting the iTunes chart in it’s first few weeks of release. Jameson recently opened up for worldwide sensation “Danity Kane” in Los Angeles and since then has been working with various producing teams on up and coming heavy hitter club tracks. A philanthropist and human rights activist, Jameson has volunteered with the American Red Cross in the wake of Hurricane Katrina; supported The ONE Campaign in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable diseases, including AIDS; by donating proceeds of his album sales to The Save Darfur Coalition, and launching fundraising/awareness events for The Somaly Mam Foundation putting an end to Human Trafficking Worldwide. Jameson starred in the campy horror film “Bloody Mary 3D” and contributed music to the film’s soundtrack. Teen dance flick “1 Chance 2 Dance” also latched onto Jameson’s “A Little Closer” for soundtrack support. He also appeared in the film adaption of "Rent," CBS' "Numbers," Bravo's "Work Out,” "Scooby Doo Live," "Blue's Clues Live" and was the host of "Nicktoon's Live at 5." Jameson is currently a Master Personal Trainer at a private gym in Los Angeles, where he takes pride in training his clients and helping them meet their goals. Jameson also works with a Hollywood based casting agency placing various talent in today’s hottest movies, television, and entertainment products. He is constantly making appearances and performing at festivals, various venues and events throughout the L.A. area the the West Coast at large.
