About Shadowfields

Sweet serendipity crept in during the summer of 2006 when Shadowfields songwriting partnership began between New York native vocalist Heather Humphrey and Chicago based multi-instrumentalist Tom McKeown. Bridging musical styles and influences, they first combined their diverse creativity together to peddle songs to publishers in NY, LA, Chicago and Nashville before pivoting to raise their own voice and sound. Now, with five studio albums and the release of #6, “Festival for One,” they’ve honed their unified vibe: organic instrumentation, sparkling melodies and adventurous arrangements, which highlights the real gold, dual, his/her expressive lead vocals.
Shadowfields created a buzz for themselves by touring the backroads of the US and Canada. They are featured in rotation on 120 independent radio stations across the U.S., Canada and Europe with their Americana/swamp-grass, neo gypsy, folk-rock sound.
