Kristen Mark Westwood is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, pastor and creative collaborator from Toronto, ON. Kristen is at home in multiple settings from intimate house shows to stadium crowds of over 15,000. His debut album What I Heard, What I Saw was born from almost a decade of re-discovering and wrestling with the sacred stories from the Gospel of Mark. This musical collection is a folk meditation on these challenging narratives which have informed deep convictions and creativity among the religious and non-religious alike for two millennia. Having journeyed with this assortment of characters year after year, Westwood renders flesh and blood to their ancient bones and gives new breath to their gritty tales.
