Eva Piontkowski

Freelance violinist/fiddler and board-certified music therapist based in San Francisco. Available for performing a plethora of styles in a variety of settings. This year Eva is featured in Jazz in the Neighborhood’s Emerging Jazz Artist Program and has been awarded the Marie-Louise Ansak Scholarship to study Irish fiddle and step-dancing to apply therapeutically in the senior healthcare setting. Eva’s background includes performing and studying in New Orleans, Serbia, Turkey, China, and Montreal. She has toured around the world with dancers, bands, and orchestras, and with notable musicians such as fiddler Marc O’Connor, and violinist Nadja Solerno-Sonnenburg.
