Being different has always been an insecurity. Phorrkast utilized those differences to create a sound all his own. Studying Andre 3000 & Missy Elliot's creativity, and Beyonce's stage presence, pushed Phorrkast to want to be the all around best. The change in weather is predicted with a forecast, the music Phorrkast creates, would always reflect that change. It would remain current and consistent.
Phorrkast moved to St.Louis Mo where he teamed up with Mary Moore, a promoter in the area. She helped Phorrkast to record music and begin performing shows. Opening up for artist Petey Pablo, Brooke Valentine, & Angie Stone, helped PK to gain the experience as a performer.
Phorrkast met and began recording music with Marvin Parkman, of Crown Musik in early 2009 in Atlanta,Ga. PK provided background vocals and creative input on several other artist's music. On the buzz single "First Sight", this mid-tempo tune is a tale of falling in love and Its catchy lyrics help to become a memorable tune for years to come. A lot of PK's musical style is a mixture of R&B, HIP HOP, ROCK, POP, and REGGAE. The upcoming music is real, relatable, quirky, and different.
