About Summersile
Summersile, founded in 2018 in Breda, emerged from lead singer Nuno Fernandez's battle with severe depression. What started as a personal struggle evolved into a powerful expression of creativity and emotion. Together with talented bandmates Sebastiaan Stam, Deny Putman, and Lars Verdurmen, the band has crafted its own distinctive sound. Inspired by ‘90s emo and early 2000’s rock, their music perfectly blends power and emotion.
After their debut EP “May I Present Myself” in 2021, they quickly established themselves as a name to watch, with national airplay on 3FM and KINK FM. In 2023, the band hit major milestones: their own successful tour (Sentimental Millennial Tour), a support show for Dutch pop-punk legends Call It Off, and a collaboration with White Russian Records. They wrapped up the year with the release of “Tears of Love,” the hit of the year, solidifying their impact in the emo-rock scene. In 2024, they reached the pinnacle with a sold-out headline show at MEZZ in Breda.
With raw emotion, captivating hooks, and an intense live experience, Summersile is ready to take over any stage. Their latest single “All Day, All Night” (featuring Bianca Vrind from IVYVOX), released on January 10, 2025, proves they are more powerful than ever. Get ready, Summersile is poised for greatness.
