The Letter Elle

'The Letter Elle' Brisbane-based musician, Gabrielle Emery. Gabrielle began releasing music and playing the coast of South-East Queensland in 2016, releasing her debut EP, ‘The Girl in the Green’ the following year. The Letter Elle writes about the ever-changing world around her, ranging from issues she faced in her childhood, to the rise of awareness in climate change. The Letter Elle takes influence from a myriad of styles. Her powerful vocals depict aspects of jazz and soul. Her production work introduces more modern ambient electronics, and she often utilizes folk/rock instrumentation and structures. This diversity produces a unique alternative style that has audiences dancing from the first beat.
