La Rebelión del Tango

The Vermont-based tango quintet, La Rebelión del Tango, began in 2016 when violinist Jeff Maneval met guitarist Ken Pasciak at a busy café in Middlebury. Bassist Ron White and pianist Michael Gaydos were enlisted to bring an eloquent and contemporary musical foundation. Bandoneonist/accordionist Michel Lajeunesse followed to contribute a decidedly Montreal contemporary jazz influence. La Rebelión performs the music of Astor Piazzolla and a selection of traditional Argentine tangos.
