About Kyla Silk
R&B singer Kyla Silk has a soulful voice reminiscent of the OGs Carole King and Janis Joplin, as well as modern influences like Alicia Keys. With her backing band, The Flavors, she blends the genres of r&b, soul, jazz, rock, and even some folk to create a sound that comforts the spirit. Her earlier releases, “Inspiration” and “Gone,” provide an insight into the singer’s mind and talent. While working on a new record with Albany based band, Lemon of Choice, Silk is also developing an outreach network to get the creative youth involved in the industry.
