Aaron Grimwood

Aaron Grimwood is a Singer/Songwriter with a warm, edgy, deep voice, combined with a unique and aggressive, Travis-Picking style, approach to guitar playing. His straightforward one-man live performances are pure and direct in order to focus on the various topics he writes about. Whether singing about friendship and loss or pirates and children’s cartoons, his country and folk influences shine through, full of humour or sadness and sometimes both!

After recording his first EP ‘All In My Head’ as a project in his final year at University, Aaron has established himself as a regular in Norwich’s open mic scene. He is quickly being booked at various venues for his first events performing a mix of original and covers showcasing his influences including Frank Turner, Mumford & Sons, George Ezra, and Zac Brown.

Alongside regular live performances, Aaron is back in the studio finishing his first EP, working on new material, merchandise and recording plenty more live videos. Having only been performing his own material since 2018, and braving the stage alone after 8 years being in various bands, Aaron Grimwood is proud to stomp alone and excited for his first studio release and whatever else comes his way!
