About Lords of Dust
Roaring out of Southern California is Lords Of Dust, a stoner rock band with a hardcore punk background.
Having emerged from the ashes of previous groups in the SoCal scene, Lords Of Dust first came together in 2017. Since then they have cultivated a sound that builds on their DIY background but also reflects their love of stoner rock and doom metal. This results in a sound that takes influence from everyone from Brant Bjork to the Circle Jerks by way of Sepultura. Unafraid to mix it up with the best of them – Lords Of Dust seek to take the scene by storm.
The bands first show came in December of 2018 when they opened for the legendary Fu Manchu. The great reception there has allowed them to leap from peak to peak. They have set their focus on playing throughout Southern California and building a strong local following. Through it all, the band has been held together by a firm comittment to their DIY ethics. This translates into everything from producing their own music to marketing their own merch.
For Lords Of Dust their blue collar background and love for punk and hardcore serves as the template to how they want to conduct both their personal lives and band affairs now and forever.
With a pair of singles out already, Lords Of dust is already plotting how they will turn their sound on its head once more. They seek to keep growing through regional touring, peppering SoCal with a spate of weekend warrior tours supported by an ever growing array of merchandise. This isn’t just another stoner rock band, this is a take no prisoners group of barely reformed punks dedicated to getting heavier and cranking out bangers.
Expect more singles to rapidly emerge from their overblown amplifiers in the very near future.
Lords Of Dust are just getting started.
