About Lazy Desperados
10 years after picking up a guitar, playing acoustic shows all over Texas and Oklahoma, moving to Nashville to be a songwriter, having two major cuts with one playing on Sirius XM The Highway, Trey Stevens and his wife decided to settle with their kids back home in Arkansas.
It was 2015 when he formed the Lazy Desperados, with longtime friend and lead guitarist, Andy Amason. In 2018, Mark Null took over on drums and Kee Kratz took on the bass and backup vocals. This was the mixture that was needed to create their first studio album, Shoot Out the Sun, which released in 2020.
Between Trey’s acoustic performances and the full band’s performances, The Lazy Desperados have shared the stage with major Texas Country/Red Dirt and Nashville acts, including; Gloriana, Chris Knight, Kevin Fowler, Evan Felker (Turnpike Troubadours), Cody Canada, Stoney LaRue, Aaron Watson, Casey Donahew, Mike and the Moonpies, Prophets and Outlaws, Micky and the Motorcars, Reckless Kelly and Jason Boland and the Stragglers.
