About Change the Letter
The sound of Kernowfornia!
Highly touted project from the heart of Cornwall, fusing American rock and country influence with British folk songwriting to craft honest, relatable and memorable songs.
Change the Letter are an alternative/roots music duo from Cornwall, England, formed in the autumn of 2018 by songwriters Rob Phillimore and Rob Griffiths. Dubbed the 'Sound of Kernowfornia' by Roland Monger.
Think Bon Jovi, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen. Think Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller.
This mix of influences allows Change the Letter to seamlessly switch and blend traditional roots music and American rock with classic British rock and indie styles, making a live performance from the band a varied and enjoyable affair, with catchy hooks and authentic, sing-along lyrics.
"Tick Tock", the duo's latest single, was released on all major digital platforms on 24th September 2021. The track is CTL's 3rd music release in 2021 –following "Broken Headlights" and live E.P "While We Wait" in February and May respectively.
