Weapons of Mass Creation Music

Weapons of Mass Creation (WMC) are a band known for explosive live performances that combine artistic disciplines (performance art, projections, theatre, painting, multimedia art) and for their bold sound that comes from story driven songs, that blend slam poetry with genres like Rock, Folk, Blues, Indie and Hip Hop. All four members of the band come are highly experienced performers and artists - with backgrounds in acting, directing, poetry, painting, sculpture, film-making, Electronica, Indie, Folk, Progressive Rock, and Metal. It is these varied experiences and interests that make Weapons of Mass Creation difficult to pigeonhole musically and an awesome, unique powerhouse of a band live.

Weapons of Mass Creation have released two studio albums, For Your Revolution (2012) and the double album Generation WE Vol 1 & Vol 2 (2016/2017). Troubles, the bands third Studio album is due for release May 2019.

In 2016 WMC created a live stage play for their double album Generation WE, with six actors, projections, aerials and the band up on a risen platform. Generation WE: the Hip-Hopera ran for 11 performances in a small regional theatre.

WMC have continue to expand their horizons live with shows in cities across the west coast of the U.S. WMC are as comfortable at big venues such as Whiskey ago-go in Los Angeles or house parties and coffee house shows.

Weapons of Mass Creation have shared the stage with many different artists including Hed P.E., Joe Jack Talcum (The Dead Milkmen), Lender, Snailmate, Failure Machine, Sit Kitty Sit, Arden Park Roots, Silver, Modern Monster, Loves, Venrez, LA Velvet, Ex Hang Ups, Chasing Ghosts, Centox, Sucka Punch, Eddie and The Subtitles, Rosie & The Cobras, Snow, Salty Dog, over 50 different emcees and DJs and many, many more bands…
