So we had the good fortune to have quite an intimate space where the warmth and resonance of their unusual instruments could be felt as well as heard. Can a 'violin' sound like a bagpipes? Yes it can. Can a 'violin' sound like a flute? Absolutely. The music was exploration of simple themes through dynamics, syncopation' 'space' and dis/harmonies. Definitely going on my Spotify playlists.
