About Scott Bison

Scott Bison is an American singer/songwriter based in Columbus, Ohio. Though his music is rooted in alternative rock, he also draws influence from classic rock, Americana, and folk. The thread that connects this distinctive rock sound is Scott's rich, weathered voice.

His music has been listed on Hype Machine, and he recently joined the AWAL roster of artists. The classic rock-infused Going Down Slow—his first single—was called “[The] War On Drugs, Hozier and Ryan Adams all mixed into one.” Going Down Slow was followed by Drive—a dark, ambient rock song that follows two people who fall in love as they drive deeper into the night. EarToTheGround Music called it “the epitome of cool,” while HypeHype called it “dark, sultry and classic.”

In 2018, he recorded his debut album in Santa Monica, California with producer Jim Kaufman (Atlas Genius, Night Riots) and engineer Josh Newell (Linkin Park). The full album is scheduled for release in early 2019.
