Movie Club

Formed in October 2018, MOVIE CLUB is an instrumental power duo that combines elements of hip hop, surf, garage rock and funk. The group was established in Venice Beach with Vince Cuneo on guitar and Jessamyn Violet on drums. Using only a guitar, loop pedal and danceable beats, they create bitchin’ waves of sound in the vein of Khruangbin, White Stripes, & Glen Porter.
Movie Club is also a collective, playing with superstar guests both live and in the studio.
