About Tied to Machines

Tied To Machines; A Banbridge band formed from the remnants of maniacal, repetitive practice and a shared loathing for the classic rock scene they were forced to endure. As the band have gained more experience their sound has evolved and the band have been likened to such acts as The Bronx, Refused and Nirvana. Their first E.P garnered positive reviews from unlikely sources including Gig Ape, Hot Press and ihouseu. The relative success of the record has seen the band headline shows across the North and support Punk Rock veterans the UK Subs. They recently finished work on their second record, again, with Rocky O’Reilly (Oppenheimer) in Start Together Studios, due for release in August 2012. The Band were tipped as one to watch for 2011 and featured on the ‘Product of Northern Ireland podcast’ by ATL, played on Radio 1 Introducing, featured on 2fm and have had television plays on BBC Sport. We want your blood.
