Renegade Bride

Spherical synthesizer planes in the background. A dominant bass-line starts. A few beats later the expressive voice of front man Van breaks through the built up tension. In the first few moments of “Need To Know” you instantly hear the blood, sweat, and love that Renegade Bride, a four piece band from Hamburg, Germany pour into their music. The influences of greats like U2, the Killers, and the Cure are clear.

One can only imagine how many endless days and nights were spent at practise and in the studio to make this song the flagship that it is. One thing is for sure: Renegade Bride are musicians at work who are not satisfied with the first recordings they belt out, but artists who have toiled away perfecting their ideas and expections. The work is definitely worth it. Kevin, Carlo, Patch and Van have managed to combine their yearlong experience in different Jazz, Indie and Folk projects, the resulting combination being their own interpretation of contemporary Indie-Rock.

After all, the music they create screams of a lifestyle and attitude that has to be heard live. The lights turned down, the amps are rumbling and the crowd has the opportunity to let the music takeover.
