Lauren Beeler

Lauren & the Howlers is an alternative rock band from East Tennessee; consisting of Lauren Beeler (guitarist & singer), David Lee Russel (drummer), Levi Cadle (guitarist), and Derek Beistad (bassist). Influenced largely by Liz Phair, St. Vincent, and The Cranberries, they blend the tones of rock, grunge, and pop. Lauren Beeler released her debut album Dixie Plaza in October 2018, shortly before forming Lauren & the Howlers; whose self-titled album released on July 19th, 2019. The Big Bad Sad Mini Tour followed this release touring the southeast including Knoxville, TN; Nashville, TN; Asheville, NC; and Lexington, KY.



Lauren was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Tennessee where she began playing guitar at the age of 9 and has since developed her own unique playing style.

Her debut full-length album 'Dixie Plaza' was released on October 13th, 2018. She draws from a wide range of styles and influences to create a truly original musical collection. Her album focuses on her experiences spending the first 22 years of her life in a small rural town in Northeast Tennessee.
