BIO ARTISTES
— Katell Boisneau est harpiste et artiste de cirque. Elle étudie au conservatoire de Nantes, puis en Formations professionnelles des Arts du Cirque à Montpellier et à Lhomme et suit la formation de danse “De l'interprete é l'auteur” au C.C.N. de la Cie Maguy Marin. Initiée aux musiques d'influences mandingues et blues, Toumani Diabaté l'invite à jouer en duo au Carrousel du Louvre en 2006. Elle fonde LÁ Y KÁ , à Marseille en 2009, un duo de harpe et Kora. Elle joue avec « Accord de Cordes » (création Algérie-France-Tunise), participe à la composition de l'album de rap “Passeport” avec Flem'Art et Vieux Farka Touré. En tant qu'harpiste et acrobate, elle joue dans différentes compagnies : Mauvais Coton, Archaos, Lieux-Public, le Cirque de Loin, le Groupe Noces, Cahin Caha. Elle suit une formation de Jazz à l'IMFP à Salon en 2013. Katell fonde la Cie s'évapore en 2014 à Marseille avec laquelle elle co- réalise « Crash Again », un spectacle mis en scene par Guy Carrara.

— Matthieu Tomi est musicien, compositeur, arrangeur. Il est bassiste et contrebassiste, au sein de différents groupes de blues, jazz, électro et reggae. Il a tourné pendant 10 ans avec Watcha Clan et joue actuellement avec Nasser Ben Dadoo (blues). Il collabore notamment avec des musiciens algériens et gnawis. En tant que compositeur, il travaille le rapport de la musique à l’image dans le spectacle vivant (Compagnies s'évapore, Mauvais Coton, Mines de Rien, Azeïn) et dans la vidéo (documentaires, films, publicité). Il s'exerce à titre d’arrangeur et directeur artistique pour Saïko Nata et « Fred » à la Clique Production. Membre de la Cie s’évapore depuis sa fondation en 2014, il est compositeur et interprète du spectacle Crash Again.

Katell Boisneau and Matthieu Tomi have been playing and composing together ever since their collaboration in the circus arts within the Cie S'Évapore company. They formed the Duo Impressionniste in 2017.

“One is a harpist and circus performer, the other is a bassist and composer.
Their travels, their explorations of their land and their chance encounters are the sources that inspire the warmth and the fabulous caress of their music.
There is not much point in explaining their music, as it seems to come from elsewhere, from countries that do not exist. The notes stir all our senses to remind them of their fantastic, nostalgic and erotic functions. Harp and bass merge in a language of great clarity with which they dialogue freely in a spellbinding tension.”

BIO:
— Katell Boisneau is a harpist and circus performer. She trained at the conservatory of music and in professional circus schools, and took dance training on the “De l'interprète à l'auteur” course in the Maguy Marin company. She was initiated in Mandingo-influenced music, then Toumani Diabate invited her to play in a duet with him at the Carrousel du Louvre in 2006. In 2009, she founded LA Y KA in Marseille, a duet of harp and kora. In 2010, she took part in the creation of the Accord de Cordes group (Algeria-France-Tunisia) and in the composition of the rap album “Passeport” with Flem'Art and Vieux Farka Touré. As a harpist and acrobat, she performs in various companies: Mauvais Coton, Archaos, Lieux Publics, Cirque de Loin, Groupe Noces, and Cahin-Caha. She was trained in jazz at the IMFP, Salon (France) in 2013. Katell founded the Cie S'Évapore company in 2014 in Marseille, with which she co-performed “Crash Again”, a show directed by Guy Carrara.

— Matthieu Tomi is a musician, composer and arranger. He plays electric bass and double bass in various bands. He toured with the electro-world band Watcha Clan from 2005 to 2013. He currently plays with Nasser Ben Dadoo (blues) and ITH (jazz-rock). He worked as arranger and artistic director at La Clique Production in 2015 for Saïko Nata (Mandingo and classical music) and Fred (soul). He works on the relationship between music and image in video, composing for documentaries, films and advertisements, especially for France 3 and Arte TV channels. Since 2014, he has been composer and performer in several circus companies: S'Évapore (“Crash Again”) Mauvais Coton, Archaos, Mines de Rien and Azeïn.
